Explosion Proof and Paint Booth Lights
Magnalight Explosion proof lights (also known as hazardous location lighting and intrinsically safe lights) are UL certificated and compliant with OSHA safety standards for use in areas where flammable petrochemical vapors and/or pulverized dust exist or have the potential to exist. Examples of this include but are not limited to, storage tanks used to store petrochemicals, grain silos, buildings that house operations where chemicals are routinely used or the operations produce fine particulates, tank farms, power plants, ship based storage containers or fuel tanks, paint spray booths, and many more. All explosion proof lighting equipment to be used in hazardous locations must be rated by Class, Division and Group/Zone. Explosion proof and Vapor proof lights are not the same and any lighting equipment that is intended for use in potentially flammable or hazardous locations must carry the correct explosion proof ratings and certifications before it can be used in such areas. Magnalight LED Emitters and LED Light Bars
Magnalight LED lights use significantly less energy than comparable incandescent lights and produce generous amounts of bright white light from compact designs. Constructed with aluminum housings, metalized polycarbonate reflectors, high powered LEDs, 100% optically pure acrylic LED lenses and shatterproof polycarbonate lens covers, these LED emitters are designed to provide a bright, uniform light pattern in tough environments. Magnalight LED lights use a patent pending LED and reflector design that produces very good beam projection in a wide spot pattern. Magnalight can also provide LEDs that produce long range spot beams as well as short and wide flood pattern beams. Our LED light emitters operate on a variety of voltages ranging from 9 to 32 volts and can be operated from ATV's, boats, heavy equipment and any vehicle with a suitable power source. Magnalight Military SpotLights
The Magnalight HML-5 (HML-5M / HLM-5M NSN 6220-01-550-6360) and HML-6 series are part of our line of military grade 24 volt spotlights with magnetic bases designed for use on the Humvee, Bradley, 1088 and almost any other type of armored or non armored vehicle. These 24 volt spotlights have been tested and approved for use by the Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force and are currently used in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of the military’s Special Forces' Escalation of Force Kits which are deployed with each soldier. These spotlights are very ruggedly constructed using heavy gauge steel, aluminum, plastic composites, and are water, sand and UV resistant. The HML-5 spotlights are equipped with 100lbs. magnetic mounts and the HML-6 spotlights are equipped with 200lbs. magnetic mounts that allow fast and simple mounting and positioning while providing enough holding power to keep these lights in position during aggressive maneuvers and off road conditions.
