Pace Precision is one of the UK’s leading independent light engineering companies.
We’ve over 25 years experience in precision engineering, specialising in the production of high quality components for a broad range of industries.
Our specialised design, prototyping and engineering teams have the skills, experience and resources to provide you with cost effective and high quality solutions for the manufacture, repair and maintenance of a wide range of parts, assemblies and pre-fabricated systems.
In each case, we work closely with you to ensure that every project is completed on time, to budget and to the highest standards.
So, whatever your requirements, when it comes to precision engineered solutions, contact Pace Precision first for an unrivalled combination of service, quality and delivery.
Precision CNC Machining
Our precision CNC machining services provide a fast and efficient method of producing individual parts through to high volume production runs, at extremely competitive cost.
We use a unique combination of standard and special purpose machine systems, operated by a long serving and highly experienced team of engineers, capable of working in a wide range of materials, from thermoplastics to high grade stainless steels.
Just as importantly, we have an ongoing programme of investment, to ensure that we remain at the forefront of technology, while retaining many of the traditional engineering skills that customers demand for the production of complex or unusual components.
In our CNC machining production cells we have standardised on the use of advanced Hurco machining centres, supported by the most up-to-date CadCam software.
Milling & Turning
Our high performance CNC milling and turning capabilities are ideal for the production of short or long batch runs, enabling us to deliver high quality, with short lead times and lower costs.
We work with materials including stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, bronze and plastics, providing one-off prototypes through to high volume batches. Completed parts are typically produced to tolerances of microns, with a choice of many secondary finishing operations enabling us to supply finished parts for production.
In our manual milling and turning production cells we have standardised on the use of Bridgeport, XYZ machines and Colchester lathes.
Maintenance and repair services
In today’s highly competitive business environment the ability to maintain production and process lines at peak efficiency is critical, with quick, effective and planned maintenance being an essential requirement.
To help you maximise the productivity of your plant and equipment we provide a full choice of maintenance, repair and overhaul services. These range from onsite preventative maintenance, planning and professional equipment servicing, to emergency breakdown repairs and offsite equipment refurbishment for conveyors, rollers, impellors, pumps and motors.
Sheet metal and fabrication
Our sheet metal and fabrication engineers have many years experience in the development and production of a wide range of component sheet metal parts and fully fabricated assemblies.
Using the latest production systems, allied to traditional engineering skills and 3D CAD technology, we have the experience and resources to help you develop the most effective solution for each project.
Our sheet metal facilities include a three metre brake press and guillotine together with punch pressing, tube bending and both Mig and Tig welding, using materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.
CAD and prototyping
Our design and prototyping team works closely with customers, helping them develop custom engineered solutions that match the exact needs of each project.
Throughout, our goal is to help you reduce time to market and cut material and production costs, while improving the functionality, performance and quality of each component or assembly.
We have invested extensively in 3D CAD technologies, using industry-standard software to ensure full compatibility with both customers’ and sub-contractors’ design or production systems.
Our design and prototyping team has extensive experience, having worked on a diverse range of projects over many years, allowing them to give you a unique combination of technical advice and practical assistance.
